Reconcile credits and call costs

The Cost column in Call Logs is assembled from usage-ledger events attributed to the call. It is not calculated in the browser by multiplying the displayed duration by a rate.

Cost components

ComponentWhat it represents
Voice Usagecall_minutes_used ledger quantities associated with the call.
ToolsOther call-associated usage, including metered SMS or transfer activity.
Async ActionA metered event with no call ID, shown as its own pseudo-call row.

Expand a call to inspect its separated voice and tool values and any underlying event names.

Duration aggregation

Wirevox sends the call's answered duration to a per-agent billing accumulator. The accumulator can carry seconds between calls and emit billable minute usage as its threshold is reached. Consequently, a call's displayed seconds and its ledger charge do not always have a simple one-call-to-one-rounded-minute relationship.

Live calls use answered duration. An unanswered live call is not billed as an answered voice call. A transfer can stop the AI-handled duration at the recorded transfer time while separate transfer usage is metered independently.

Browser voice tests are also billed using their measured test duration and the configuration tested.

Rate selection

The runtime calculates an agent's credit rate from the configured voice stack and billable features. The call is charged using the configuration snapshot that actually ran:

  • live phone calls use the published configuration loaded for the call; and
  • browser tests use the draft configuration loaded for that test session.

Changing a draft does not retroactively change ledger events already recorded.

Reconciliation workflow

  1. Open Call Logs and filter to the relevant agent.
  2. Expand each call and separate Voice Usage from Tools.
  3. Include Async Action entries within the same period.
  4. Compare the summed ledger quantities with workspace usage and remaining credits.
  5. If values differ, check time boundaries, calls that ended recently, per-agent duration carryover, and events without call IDs.

Do not use the legacy aggregate totalCost calculation from an internal stats response as the source of truth. The current Call Logs cost breakdown is ledger-backed.
