Manage add-ons and concurrent calls

Concurrent calls are a capacity limit, not a credit balance. The displayed total is:

total concurrent lines = plan base lines + extra concurrent-call add-ons

Change concurrent-call capacity

  1. Open Settings → Billing → Add-ons.
  2. Review the plan's base lines and current extra lines.
  3. Increase or decrease Extra lines.
  4. Review the new monthly add-on total.
  5. Select Save changes, then confirm.

Wirevox updates the recurring Stripe subscription item. Adding capacity creates an immediate prorated invoice behavior; removing capacity produces the corresponding prorated credit according to Stripe's invoice calculation.

When upgrading a plan, existing extra-line quantity is moved to the new tier's add-on price. When the subscription fully ends, extra concurrent calls reset to zero.

Runtime behavior

Inbound routing compares active calls with the plan base plus extra lines. When the limit is reached, the call is marked as capacity-rejected and receives the busy path instead of starting the agent.

Current implementation note: the inbound route contains this limit check, but its active-call lookup is not passed with the same workspace arguments used by the database method. Verify concurrency enforcement under load before treating the displayed line count as a hard admission-control guarantee.

Browser tests do not consume a concurrent phone line. Outbound call initiation currently checks credits and payment lock, but does not apply the same explicit concurrency gate in its route.

Phone-number add-ons

Phone numbers beyond the plan allowance are separate recurring Stripe items. They do not increase concurrent calls and do not consume usage credits merely by remaining assigned.

Downgrades can reclassify excess included numbers as paid. Cancelling the subscription moves active numbers into grace instead of immediately releasing them. See Release and reclaim numbers.
