Connect Wirevox to ChatGPT

The Wirevox connector lets ChatGPT work with the Wirevox workspace you authorize. It can answer questions using current workspace data and prepare supported changes without asking you to paste credentials into a conversation.

Before you connect

You need:

  • an active Wirevox account and access to a workspace;
  • permission for the Wirevox data or action you request; and
  • access to the Wirevox connector in ChatGPT.

Your Wirevox role still applies after you connect. Connecting ChatGPT does not grant additional workspace permissions.

Connect your account

  1. Open the Wirevox connector from ChatGPT.
  2. Choose Connect or sign in when ChatGPT prompts you.
  3. Complete the Wirevox authorization screen and select an account you trust.
  4. Return to ChatGPT after authorization succeeds.

Never paste a Wirevox password, API key, OAuth token, payment credential, or integration secret into ChatGPT. Wirevox uses its authenticated authorization flow for the connection.

What the connector can do

Subject to your workspace permissions, the connector can read:

  • agents, prompts, versions, voices, reusable functions, and knowledge bases;
  • integration availability and connection status;
  • phone-number assignments;
  • contacts and leads;
  • call and website-chat records;
  • workspace analytics, operational status, credits, usage, and subscription state; and
  • selected public webpages when you ask it to research or prepare knowledge sources.

It can also prepare supported workspace changes, including agent draft creation and editing, publishing, status changes, version restoration, reusable-function changes, knowledge-base changes, phone-number assignment, integration-function setup, and time-limited Playground share links.

The connector cannot purchase or release phone numbers, change a paid subscription, initiate or control a live phone call, or store credentials supplied in a chat.

Approval is required for changes

Read requests can return immediately. A request that would change Wirevox is prepared first and shown in a Wirevox approval card.

Review the target, fields, and effect before choosing Approve. Rejecting the card makes no workspace change. Prepared actions expire after 10 minutes and cannot be reused after a decision.

Destructive actions, such as deleting an agent, reusable function, or knowledge base, are identified in the approval card. Wirevox checks your identity, workspace access, permissions, and the prepared action again when you approve it.

Data and privacy

Only use the connector with information you are authorized to access and share. Responses may include workspace data in the ChatGPT conversation you initiated. Wirevox does not return passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, payment credentials, or internal authentication secrets as connector output.

Read the Wirevox Privacy Policy for details about connected assistants, data categories, retention, and your choices. Your use of ChatGPT is also governed by your OpenAI agreement and settings.

Disconnect or troubleshoot

You can revoke the connection from your connected-app settings in ChatGPT or from the relevant Wirevox account controls when available. Reconnect if authorization expires or you change accounts.

If an action expires, ask ChatGPT to prepare it again and review the new approval card. If a requested record is missing, confirm that you selected the intended Wirevox account and that your role has access to the workspace.
