Connect integrations with Vox

Vox reads the live integration catalog and current workspace connection status before recommending an integration function. Current providers include Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Jobber, Clio Manage, Clio Grow, Filevine, Open Dental, and email setup.

Available actions depend on the provider and the current catalog. Ask Vox to list the provider before deciding which actions to enable.

Secure connection flow

  • OAuth providers open the provider's consent page through a secure connection button.
  • Credential-based providers and email setup open Settings → Integrations.
  • Never paste client secrets, access tokens, passwords, or customer keys into Vox chat.

Connecting a provider and creating an agent function are separate operations. A successful connection does not automatically give an agent any tools.

  1. Ask Vox to inspect the integration catalog and connection status.
  2. Open the secure connection flow if the provider is disconnected.
  3. Create one integration function for that provider containing all required actions.
  4. Attach the returned function ID to the target agent.
  5. Inspect the agent's prompt-authoring context.
  6. Update the complete prompt with the exact marker and operating rules for every callable action.
  7. Test reads and writes with safe sample data before publishing the agent.

Each function creation, attachment, and prompt replacement is a separate approval-backed mutation. Grouping a provider's actions into one function avoids unnecessary function records and approval cards.
