Create, configure, and switch workspaces

Use the workspace selector in the main navigation to open another accessible workspace or select New workspace.

Create a standard workspace

  1. Open the workspace selector.
  2. Select New workspace.
  3. Enter Workspace Name.
  4. Optionally enter Website Link, Industry, and Timezone.
  5. Select Create workspace.

Wirevox creates a standard free workspace, makes the creator its active owner, saves the optional business preferences, and switches to its overview. Workspace creation is not currently limited by the creator's subscription tier; each workspace starts and bills independently.

The name is required. The creation form defaults the timezone to America/New_York until you select another value.

Configure workspace identity

In Settings → Preferences, authorized users can update the workspace name, logo, business name, website, industry, timezone, and notification preferences. These values belong to the active workspace; they are not global account-profile fields.

The timezone affects workspace-local runtime context and time-based interpretation. Confirm it before publishing agents that discuss appointments or business hours.

How active selection works

Wirevox chooses the active workspace in this order:

  1. An accessible workspace ID in the URL.
  2. The last accessible workspace stored by the browser.
  3. A preferred accessible subaccount, then agency, then the first workspace.

Selecting a workspace navigates to its overview and stores the choice locally. Workspace-aware navigation preserves the /w/{workspaceId}/ prefix.

For an agency user, subaccounts are hidden from the ordinary switcher and opened through the agency's Subaccounts → Open Dashboard workflow. The switcher is also hidden while a subaccount workspace is active.

Verify after switching

Before changing a resource, confirm the workspace name and URL ID. Open the relevant list and verify that the target agent, function, knowledge base, number, or record exists in that workspace.
